The Springwood Hotel

Located within Logan City’s commercial and entertainment precinct, Springwood Hotel has been part of the suburb’s growth since opening alongside the Springwood retail centre in 1974. Positioned between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Springwood developed rapidly with the expansion of the South East Freeway and has since evolved into one of Logan’s key social and commercial hubs.

Our full refurbishment reimagined the venue as a contemporary entertainment destination, delivering a premium gaming lounge, the transformation of the original buffet restaurant into a modern à la carte dining experience with two new bars, and the creation of a themed American-style sports bar. Designed to provide an immersive hospitality experience, the sports bar combines darts, pool, layered lighting and large-format LED vision walls to create a high-energy social environment inspired by classic American sporting venues.

The redevelopment balances bold entertainment-focused design with warm, contemporary hospitality finishes. Rich materiality, ambient lighting and layered textures create distinct atmospheres throughout the venue — from the refined gaming lounge to the vibrant sports and dining spaces. Spatial planning and circulation were carefully considered to improve operational efficiency while creating stronger visual connections between the venue’s entertainment offerings.

The result is a revitalised hospitality destination that reflects the evolving identity of Springwood and reinforces the hotel’s role as a key social venue within Logan’s growing urban centre.
