Cayas Architects provided Architecture and Interior Design services for a new restaurant and sports bar venue for the York on Lillydale Hotel located in rural Victoria. Drawing inspiration from the regional design vernacular and the natural beauty of Lillydale the design embraces the warmth and rawness of timber not only through the central atrium but also in the expressed and carefully detailed timber roof trusses which are expressed throughout the spaces. Local stone cladding and flooring add texture and character to the space whilst the feature fireplace in the lounge creates a focal point for patrons.
