Marina Bacha

Marina is a Senior Interior Designer at Cayas + Ward, working across a wide range of hospitality projects throughout Australia. Originally from Brazil, she holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Universidade de Brasília as well as a qualification in Commercial Interior Design from Torrens University in Brisbane.

She is passionate about using creativity to transform spaces into experiences, blending functionality with storytelling to design pubs, clubs, and hotels that feel both memorable and authentic. Marina thrives on the collaborative process, working closely with clients and mentoring her team to bring bold ideas to life with precision and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Marina is fuelled by her love for great coffee and good food, and she never says no to trying a new restaurant. When she’s not exploring Brisbane’s dining scene, she’s usually out on a walk with her much-loved dog Millie, her favourite design brainstorming partner.
