Kim Garton

With 28 years of industry experience, Kim Garton is a skilled architect specializing in the commercial and hospitality sectors. A graduate of the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Built Environment, Kim is a registered architect in both Queensland and New South Wales. 

Since joining Cayas + Ward in 2013, Kim has contributed significantly to the firm’s success, becoming a partner in 2020. In his leadership role, Kim drives project delivery and procurement services, with extensive experience in contract administration. His extensive knowledge ensures that projects are delivered with efficiency, precision, and excellence. 

Kim’s portfolio includes notable hospitality projects such as Brook, Forest, Miami, and Broadbeach, reflecting his commitment to functional, user-focused design. His design philosophy, cantered on “function over form,” ensures that every space serves its intended purpose while maintaining a strong aesthetic.
