Jeremy Ward

Jeremy Ward is a Director of Cayas + Ward Architects, bringing two decades of experience in delivering design-driven, commercially astute projects across Australia. Since joining the practice, Jeremy has helped shape Cayas + Ward into one of the country’s leading architectural firms specialising in hospitality design, pubs and sports clubs, while also guiding its expansion into the commercial, retail, and short term accommodation (hotel) sectors.

Jeremy joined the practice in 2014, later becoming a Partner in 2018 and a Director in 2019, and today leads both the design and business development arms of the practice. He works closely with long-standing clients such as Endeavour Group (ALH) and Queensland Clubs Management Group, steering high-profile redevelopments including large-scale pub and tavern transformations, sports club and RSL precincts and short term accommodation projects.

Known for his meticulous attention to design detail, quality assurance practices and future focused hospitality innovation, Jeremy has developed internal frameworks—from detailed QA systems, project works flows and practice methodology—that ensure projects meet industry required standards of design and delivery. He is also deeply involved in client relationships, industry sponsorships, and thought leadership, frequently contributing to the hospitality design conversation through summits, press, and industry publications.

Beyond architecture, Jeremy is a keen photographer, traveller, and creative thinker, often blending his personal passions for design, storytelling, and technology into the practice’s evolving identity.
