Jacques became part of the Cayas + Ward team in 2021, bringing with him over ten years of experience in the industry. As a Partner, he supports the day-to-day running of the office, guides project delivery, and enjoys mentoring up-and-coming architects and interior designers. He’s also the go-to for keeping workflows smooth, quality high, and BIM systems running at their best.

For Jacques, architecture is about more than buildings — it’s about designing spaces that bring people together and strengthen communities. He thrives on collaboration and finding design solutions that make a positive impact.

With his trademark dry sense of humour and South African accent, Jacques quickly became a much-loved member of the team. When he’s not at the office, you’ll usually find him outdoors, making the most of quality time with his young family.
